Ukraine expands attacks as Russia reports casualties

Ukraine has launched a combined drone and missile attack on multiple targets in southern Russia, leaving at least one person dead and four seriously injured, according to Russian authorities.

Rostov region governor Yuri Slyusar said the strikes also damaged civilian infrastructure in the town of Taganrog, where a fire broke out at the warehouses of a logistics company following the attack.

At the same time, an incident was reported in the Sea of Azov, where drones struck a foreign-flagged commercial vessel, causing a fire on board. According to available information, the attack forms part of a broader pattern targeting economic and transport infrastructure.

Drones also struck the town of Togliatti in the Samara region, although the extent of the damage remains unclear. Ukraine has previously targeted the TogliattiAzot plant there.
