Cargo ship sinks in the Sea of Azov

A cargo ship carrying wheat sinks in the Sea of Azov, with one casualty and two others missing.

The information was made public by the representative of the Russian administration in the occupied part of Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.

According to his statement, nine crew members who made it to shore were rescued. All of them were Russian citizens.

The assistant captain lost his life, while the search for the two missing continues. The causes of the accident are not yet known and the authorities have launched an investigation.
