New Finds at Mount Ararat Revive Noah's Ark Claims

Researcher Andrew Jones says new findings from Mount Ararat in Turkey could support the theory that Noah's Ark existed, according to GB News.

The rock formation under study, known since 1959, is ship-shaped and its dimensions roughly match those described in the Bible. Using ground-penetrating radar, the research team identified underground structures resembling tunnels and a central cavity, which Jones said fits the biblical description of a multi-storey vessel.

Soil samples taken from inside the formation showed significantly higher levels of organic matter and potassium than those outside, which the team interprets as possible evidence of the decay of an ancient wooden structure. Marine fossils found at high altitude are similarly cited as potential evidence of an ancient flood.

However, experts note that more conventional scientific explanations exist, including geological processes that can lift sections of the seabed to higher elevations.
