Kremlin Rules Out Europe as Mediator in Ukraine Peace Talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that Europe should not expect to act as a mediator in peace talks on Ukraine, according to RIA Novosti.

Peskov reiterated Moscow's position that European countries are on Ukraine's side in the conflict.

Direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine have not taken place since February, with contact between the two sides mediated by the United States.
