Sven R Larson is an American Ph.D. political economist. Originally from Sweden and educated in Denmark, he worked for 17 years in U.S. politics and public policy. He has authored numerous academic papers and written six books on economics and politics, including Industrial Poverty (Gower 2014) about the European economic crisis of 2008-2011, and Democracy or Socialism (Palgrave McMillan 2021) about the economic and un-democratic roots of the socialist ideology. In 2021-2026 he was an economics writer for The European Conservative.
