Hélène de Lauzun is a historian by training, with a PhD in history from the Sorbonne. She is a former student of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris, specialised in the history of Austria and Central Europe. Having worked for various conservative organisations and outlets in France, she is now a press correspondent and columnist working from Paris. De Lauzun is regularly sought out as an advisor for international media on French politics and European conservative circles and also in charge of the department of History of Political Ideas at the Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme de Paris. She wrote an Histoire de l’Autriche (Paris, Perrin, 2021) and a biography of Johann Strauss (Paris, Tallandier, 2025). Beyond politics, she is passionate about issues related to cultural fight and the preservation of the French heritage and art de vivre and the happy mother of four children.
